NYIF: FG Speaks on Disbursement and Training Date of next Batch. Check Here
The federal government through the ministry of youths and sports development has cleared the air on what extent the scheme has disbursed fund to it beneficiaries and the fate of those yet to be trained.
The federal ministry of youths and sports development through their verified Twitter handle on Sunday 9, May 2021 said they have disbursed over N1.31billion to 4,680 beneficiaries across the 36 States in Nigeria.
On the Twitter handle of the NYIF the minister of the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development (FMYSD) Mr Dare said;
“Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) has disbursed loans to at least 4,680 beneficiaries amounting to N1.31billion out of the first tranche of N12.5 billion.”

The scheme also cleared those yet to be paid that Loan disbursement is in batches, therefore applicants are advice to be patient as payment will soon reach them.
Reacting to the news, the Sunrise News gathered that, some applicants who are yet to be trained asked the scheme on what is their fate in getting trained by the ministry of FMYS, the scheme via the Twitter handle of NYIF said, Training is presently not in progress, Information on the training date will be provided as soon as training commences.

The ministry further warns applicants not to share their personal details with anyone on Twitter. thus the scheme said;
