The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission RSIEC, has released timetable for the recruitment of Adhoc staff for the forthcoming local government elections in the state.
The Commission in a statement yesterday in Port Harcourt, said the positions have been splited into two categories.
It said different days have been set aside for application according to LGA’s starting from March 1, 2021.
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified persons who are interested in the RSIEC AD-HOC Staff 2021 Recruitment for the forthcoming Local Government Council elections in Rivers State
FIRST CATEGORY
- Local Government Returning Officers (LGROs)
- Ward Returning Officers (WROs)
- Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs)
- Presiding Officers (POs).
QUALIFICATIONS
To apply for this job, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a university degree
- Be a computer literate
- Previous experience(s) on the job will be an added advantage.
SECOND CATEGORY
- Polling Clerk (PCs)
- Assistant Polling Clerk (APCs)
- Poll Monitors (PMs)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates with NCE,OND,WASC,GCE,SSCE or NECO can apply
- Must be a computer literate
- Previous experience(s) on the job will be an added advantage.
